About Me

Elliott studied at Princeton University, Fudan University, and Beijing Normal University, returning back to Central Florida after graduation to work in the Dorsch family businesses, which have been active in Lakeland since the early 1990’s and include Fun Bike Center Motorsports, Papa John’s Pizza and MOJO’s Wings, Burgers, and Beer. The Dorsch family businesses currently employ over 700 people throughout Polk, Pasco, Hillsborough, Sarasota, and Manatee Counties, including 200 people in the City of Lakeland. Elliott works side-by-side with his two brothers, Jordan, president of the Dorsch restaurants, and Nicholas, vice president of marketing for Fun Bike Center, Papa John's, and MOJO's.

Elliott, 28, is president of Fun Bike Center Motorsports. Family-owned and operated in Lakeland since 1993, Fun Bike Center is one of the largest motorcycle dealerships in the country and has received national recognition for its role in revolutionizing the retail powersports industry. As a local Lakeland business, Fun Bike Center Motorsports continues to win the highest possible industry awards from manufacturers Kawasaki, Honda, and Yamaha and was named by “Dealer News Magazine” as a U.S. Top 100 Dealer and a “#1 Best Company to Work For” in 2009 and 2010. Elliott also serves on the board of directors for several companies and formerly served as a board member for GE Money Bank’s National Dealer Advisory Board.

As a volunteer, Elliott serves on the Government Affairs Committee through the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, as alumni interviewer and treasurer to the Princeton Class of 2005, and as trustee to the charitable Daniel and Cynthia Dorsch Family Fund. Elliott and his brothers created the charitable fund in memory of their parents, Daniel and Cynthia Dorsch, who died in a tragic July 2009 plane crash. The Daniel and Cynthia Dorsch Family Fund benefits orphaned and disadvantaged children. Dorsch is committed to the community and supports many charities and organizations both personally and through his family businesses. He lives in Lakeland with his wife Virginia and their 1-year old son Aiden.
